Composite Fabrication

AllStar3D can produce (or reproduce) composite parts and molds from existing parts or custom engineered plugs/patterns (exact model of the completed part).  These molds can be produced for single use or as volume production tools.  Mold plugs can be produced from an existing part or AllStar3D can design and fabricate a custom plug to meet your requirements and specifications.  Mold tooling is designed specifically for composite laminated parts utilizing materials such as polyester, epoxy, fiberglass, carbon fiber and Kevlar.

Our general process to create a part from scratch is below.  This processed can be modified depending on several factors including:

1) Does the customer want a single (1-off) part or multiple parts?

2) is there a design or a 3D model already available?

3) Does the customer have an existing part that can be used as a plug/pattern?

4) Will a single part be created from a mold or external layup?
